On March 11, 2022, the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Anhui Province announced the list of the first batch of new materials in Anhui Province in 2022. Eta Semiconductor Technology (Tongling) Co., Ltd.'s GaN single crystal free-standing substrate (wafer) was successfully selected by virtue of its forward-looking, innovative and breakthrough advantages. At the same time, Eta Semiconductor became the only third-generation semiconductor enterprise in Anhui Province that won this honor this year.

In order to speed up the construction of a strong manufacturing province and promote high-quality economic development, in 2020, the Anhui provincial government issued Several Policies to Support the Development of the First Set of Major Technical Equipment, the First Batch of New Materials, the First Edition of Software, focusing on 12 directions in three major fields: advanced basic materials, key strategic materials, and cutting-edge new materials, aiming to cultivate a group of provinces with independent intellectual property rights, achieve major breakthroughs, and achieve significant technological innovation, New material products with broad market application and economic benefit prospects.
